Dr. Ghassan Fraij is an interventional cardiologist who began practicing in Chandler, AZ in 2014. He was always intrigued by the heart in science class and decided to become a heart specialist because cardiology is an evolving and innovative branch of medicine where he believed he could positively affect those suffering from a variety of heart ailments.
Dr. Fraij completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma and received his internal medicine training at the University of North Carolina and his interventional cardiology training at Banner University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. His training in structural heart disease for percutaneous valve replacement complements the providers in the practice.
Dr. Fraij is dedicated to making a difference in people’s well-being, whether it is through relieving their chest pain, treating their heart failure, or allowing them to walk again by treating their peripheral artery disease, he is concerned about improving their quality of life.
On the personal side, Dr. Fraij enjoys spending time with his family, with the favorite part of his day being taking his kids to school in the morning.
